Preslie turns 1 !

I can't believe it's been a year already. My baby's growing up way too fast. After we got over the fear of her balloons, she had a great time at her party. I'm sure she was a little overwhelmed by all the people and presents, but it was all worth it when she got to shovel cake into her mouth and no one stopped her. We love you so much Preslie. We are so thankful to have you in our lives. You bring so much joy and happiness into our home. We don't know what we ever did without you. Thanks to everyone that came to wish her a happy birthday, she loves you all !

Camping on Labor Day

We had so much fun camping ! We played games , went on rides, hung out by the fire and just relaxed. Preslie went on lots of rides in the rhino with grandpa. I've never seen her so excited ! Can't wait for the next trip.

Well as you can tell life is so crazy I havent blogged in forever, and now with facebook.....who's got time for all this ? I think I've finally adjusted to my new life as a mom and Preslie just turned 10 months yesterday ! She's growing so fast, we've had lots of fun lately going lots of places....lake trips , camping trips, any excuse to get out of town. Preslie is a busy little girl, very curious, and very happy with tons of energy! We are so lucky to have her in our lives.

Brady just cant seem to get enough of the dunes. as soon as he showed up with a new paint job on his sand car,he was excited to get back out to the sand. he and the guys saddled up last weekend and made a trip down to glamis, california.

We had a blast at the sand dunes over presidents weekend. Our new sandrail is so much fun. Preslie liked it too! My parents went in their trailer and my mom watched her while we went out and had fun. This is Brady and my dad jumping in the rail.

Preslie started eating babyfood and she loves it!She's not quite sure how to use a spoon yet so she makes a mess. This picture was after a nice serving of carrots. I've started stripping her down naked before I feed her and then rinsing her off after. It works much better that way, and saves me having to get all the stains out of her clothes.

We blessed Preslie on Sunday January 11th here ot our house. We waited longer than we should have because she was not into laying back. She's very into seeing her surroundings so I was hoping we would catch her asleep but it didn't work out that way. So..she fussed and cried through the whole blessing. Oh well! Brady did a great job. We love her so much and can't believe how fast she's growing.

This weekend Shelley and Ashley and I took the girls to the mall to get their ears peirced. As though the shots last week weren't enough! I figured I better do it while she's little and doesn't know to pull and tug at them. She only cried for a minute so it wasn't bad, and she looks so cute!

Thanksgiving was fun! We spent time with my mom's family for dinner, visiting later that afternoon with my dad's family, and that night spent time with Brady's parents. We were supposed to leave for the sand dunes that afternoon but I backed out. Staying home just seemed a lot easier. Having a baby is a lot of work, but seems easier at home than in a trailer. Brady took off the next day with a couple of his brothers. They had a great time, and Preslie and I went shopping, went to my neices birthday party, started putting up the christmas tree.

Last week I took Preslie to get her shots. It was the first time she had seen this doctor, she was great, but that didn't change the fact that we were there for shots and that was a very upsetting thing. They gave her an oral vaccine and then 2 shots in one leg and 1 in the other. The look on her face killed me, I felt like the worst mom ever. She cried for about 10 min. which is very unusual for my happy baby. I couldn't wait to get her home and just hold her. I could sense that she was upset with me because it seemed like that night she just wanted Brady. Not looking forward to doing that any time soon!

On Halloween we went to my sister in law Staceys to pass out candy and eat lots of yummy food. It was so fun to see all our neices and nephews dressed up, they are so cute. Preslie was supposed to be a pumpkin but was too hot in her costume so instead she was a black cat. The night after we went to an awesome costume party. The theme was "rockers" so we had fun dressing up. Velda goes all out with her parties! They had a worm eating contest and the winner won a $100 bucks. It was so nasty! Can't wait til next year.

We took Preslie on her first trip to the sand dunes last weekend. We normally go for Halloween, but because she is still so little we figured we should go on an off weekend when it's not so crazy. My parents went with us. My Dad wanted to take his new Rhino and my mom just wanted an excuse to spend more time with Preslie. She helped me give her baths in the sink in the trailer. We had a lot of fun! Can't wait til she's old enough to ride!

My cousin Kellie and I went to lunch the other day at Paradise Bakery. After lunch we went next door to a store called Girly Girlz. I had heard of it, but never been there. SO CUTE! I bought Preslie these cute leg warmers called Baby Legs. There a little big on her, but with how fast she's growing they'll fit her before we know it. By the look on her face I think she really likes them.

Yeah, we're back in business!

Since she was born we've been trying to figure out who she looks like, so my mom went home and pulled out all the baby pics. She came over with pictures of her as a baby and a huge smile on her face and said, "look, she looks just like me." The picture was in black and white and too small to tell what you were really looking at. Okay mom, whatever you say! This is my parents first grandchild and they're definitely falling in love, even though my mom refuses to be called grandma. She called the other day with a list of "cool" grandma names, some of them were absolutely hilarious. I guess she'll have it figured out by the time Preslie can talk.

I love taking pictures of her. She really does sleep with her arms above her head like that. I can't believe how long her legs are.bb

I'm not really sure who she looks like. Maybe in a few weeks we'll be able to tell. I'm loving being a mom, it's amazing how much life changes. She's only a week old and she's already smiled at me a couple of times, and she's started to put her little fingers through my hair. I just love her!

Baby Day

Preslie Paige Breinholt was born September 22nd at 4:40 p.m. She weighed 8'3 and was 20' long . I went to the hospital that morning to be induced and after hours of laying there and nothing happening, the Dr. discovered that she had turned and was breech. We decided the best way to get her out safely was to do a c section, and once she was out and I knew how big she was it was probably the best thing. I still can't belive that's what was inside of me the last 9 months, what a miracle!

Preslie has more clothes and shoes than I do!

My baby shower was so much fun! My sister in laws put it on for me at Bradys parents house. Everything was PINK and so cute! The food was great and the diaper cake Shelley made was adorable.

The theatre room turned out great and he got it finished before Preslie was born.

This is Bradys latest project he wanted to finish before the baby got here. He added a theatre room onto the back of our house. We won't be able to go to the movies with a new baby so we brought the movies to us! I'm lucky he is so handy! Movie nights are so fun, all we need now is a popcorn machine.

Okay so it's been a year since I posted anything. We have been extremely busy. We built a new house and moved, have been working a lot, and are expecting our first baby in about 5 weeks. I'm going to try my best to keep my blog updated since I'll have baby pictures to show and not just pics of Brady and I.
